Archery Harvest
Cory and Tonys story.......
Well the '07 season is almost over, but here is one on my Highlights. Tony
and I pulled a double on April 28th. I took the first one at 18 yards, and then
"Hammer" (Tony's Bird) showed up to get in some cheap shots, and after a
....well a few attempts, Tony managed to find that ever so sweet spot on these
big birds and harvest his first archery gobbler at 26 yards!! "Hammer" weighed
in at 25lbs,11-1/4" Beard, and 1-1/4 spurs. My bird was 20lbs and a 1/4" short
on beard and spur length. But I'm not complaining. We were packed up and back to
the truck by 8 a.m. ........It was just one of those days!!!

Both
were shooting 2006 BowTech Tributes, Gold Tip XT's, Trophy Taker Drop
away rests and fixed blade broadheads. Looks like another one for Corys
album.
